As the agricultural show season came to an end, the Westmorland County Show was our last show of the year. Our time on site included reviewing how the show is delivered, so we can give detailed feedback on what the show is doing well and the adjustments it can make to keep improving the safety…
Moreton Show has become a highlight of our season, having worked with the team for several years now. Over that time we’ve seen continual improvement in how the show considers the health, safety and welfare of everyone on site, and our team are there to support and help develop its safety practices and culture. Another show, another lightning storm. UK summer weather is becoming increasingly severe, and once again we saw electrical storms tracking towards the showground – and the need to start putting additional actions in place to halt activities and warn those on site. Electrical storms can appear from nowhere and travel several miles in a very…
