Our appetite for continued professional development took us to The Congress Centre, London for the 2ndannual event covering safety and security topics within the event industry. Covering topics including; learning transferable lessons, threats to crowded spaces, The Kerslake Report, Trends in behavioural detection, mobile messaging in emergency comms, situational awareness, The Green Guide update, crowd and crisis comms and dynamic lockdown procedures in complex scenarios were just some of the matters discussed during the day. Helping to take tourism back to Tunisia

With Tunisia tipped for a summer resurgence for 2019 holiday makers, Kingsford Events provided production management and installation services for our client installing their games room concept within resort near Sousse. Whilst working beach-front has its delights this didn’t pose distraction to our crew who delivered the installation to our usual high standard, even when working in the challenges of a foreign country.

Keeping up to date with safety

Today we attended the IIRSM (International Institute of Safety Management)’s Crowd and Event Safety Conference in Manchester. We are very keen and committed to ensuring we keep ourselves abreast of the developments and challenges within the event safety word and this event provided a very worthwhile and though provoking day. Highlighting that the current climate is to focus on Counter Terrorism , whilst highly important we must not forget the real risks when focusing on those topical threats.
