Keeping up to date with safety

Today we attended the IIRSM (International Institute of Safety Management)’s Crowd and Event Safety Conference in Manchester.

We are very keen and committed to ensuring we keep ourselves abreast of the developments and challenges within the event safety word and this event provided a very worthwhile and though provoking day.

Highlighting that the current climate is to focus on Counter Terrorism , whilst highly important we must not forget the real risks when focusing on those topical threats.

With topics covered from group psychology; and how groups are more likely to trust and influence each other, scenario and emergency planning, Terrorism and Violence as well and Temporary Demountable Structures, it was a very worthwhile day to attend as well as networking with colleagues within the industry.
