Festival Event Safety
A weekend was spent in deepest darkest Herefordshire (nearly Wales) supporting an industry colleague with event safety at a philosophy and music festival on the banks of the river Wye.
As well as the usual hazards that tend to pop up at these events, the weather threw some of it's worst at us including an electrical storm that passed very close by.
Contingency plans for monitoring and reacting to such weather is critical to the safety of the event and its attendees. Monitoring electrical storms is a challenge, so ensuing you have the resources in place is essential.
Nice to see some festival creative again.
